Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the position of Principal at Pandu College, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

i) Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in a point scale from a recognized university.

ii) Ph.D. degree in the concerned/relevant discipline from the institution with evidence of published work and guidance.

iii) Professor/Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen years of teaching/research experience in universities, colleges, and institutions of higher education.

iv) Candidates must have a minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance appraisal (PBAS) as set in the UGC regulation in Appendix I for direct recruitment of Principals in Colleges.

v) A minimum of 10 research publications in reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

vi) A minimum research score of 110 as per Appendix II, Table-2 of the UGC regulation 2018.

vii) There is a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility marks at the Master’s degree level for SC/ST/Differently abled (Physically and visually differently abled) candidates.

viii) The eligibility marks of 55% or equivalent grade and the relaxation of 5% for the mentioned categories are based solely on the qualifying marks without including any grace marks.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for the Principal position is 55 years.

1. Fill out the application in the format provided by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE).
2. Submit a bio-data along with all self-attested testimonials.
3. Include a demand draft of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) drawn in favor of the Principal, Pandu College, payable at Canara Bank, Maligaon Branch, Guwahati-11.
4. Send the application to the President, Pandu College Governing Body, Pandu, Guwahati-12.
5. The application must reach the designated address by July 23, 2023.
