The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Assam, is pleased to announce the recruitment of 94 vacancies for the role of Officers in Grade ‘B’ through Direct Recruitment (DR). This recruitment drive aims to fill positions across various specialized departments. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply for the following posts:

1. Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) – General

• No. of Posts: 66
• Qualification & Experience:
  • Graduation in any discipline or equivalent technical/professional qualification with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants), OR
  • Post-Graduation in any discipline or equivalent technical/professional qualification with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years.

2. Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) – DEPR (Department of Economic and Policy Research)

• No. of Posts: 21
• Qualification & Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Economics (e.g., MA/MSc in Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics), OR
  • Master’s Degree in Finance (e.g., MA/MSc in Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, Agri Business Finance)
  • For both a) and b) above, a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade is required in aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/Institute.

3. Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) – DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management)

• No. of Posts: 7
• Qualification & Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/Econometrics/Statistics & Informatics/Applied Statistics & Informatics with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years, OR
  • Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics or related subjects, OR
  • Master’s Degree in Data Science/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Big Data Analytics with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized University/Institute, OR
  • Four-year Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years in Data Science/AI/ML/Big Data Analytics from a recognized University/Institute, OR
  • Two years Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized University/Institute.

  • অৰ্থনীতিত মাস্টাৰ ডিগ্ৰী (যেনে MA/MSc কুৱাণ্টিটেটিভ অৰ্থনীতি, গাণিতিক অৰ্থনীতি, বিত্তীয় অৰ্থনীতি, ব্যৱসায়িক অৰ্থনীতি, কৃষি অৰ্থনীতি, উদ্যোগী অৰ্থনীতি), অথবা

  • গাণিতিক বিজ্ঞানত মাস্টাৰ ডিগ্ৰী সহ ৫৫% নম্বৰ আৰু এক বছৰৰ প’ষ্ট-গ্ৰাজুৱেট ডিপ্লোমা, অথবা
