Position: Associate Professor (Natural Products)

Qualifications:
- Essential: Ph.D. with a first-class or equivalent grade in M.Sc./MS/M.Pharm with specialization in Natural Products/Phytochemistry. The candidate should have a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 8 years of Teaching/Research/Industrial experience. They should also have published works of high quality and a well-recognized reputation for making significant contributions to knowledge in Pharmaceutical and allied areas.
Desirable:
- Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in extraction, isolation, purification, and characterization of bioactive natural products and phytopharmaceuticals development.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of GMP/GLP and relevant regulatory guidelines for producing traditional medicines/herbal products/nutraceuticals/phytopharmaceuticals.
- Hands-on experience in operating analytical equipment like NMR, Mass, and flash/preparative chromatography systems will be considered an advantage.
- Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the post-graduate level, conduct independent research in their field of expertise, and contribute to administrative activities.
