Educational Qualification:
- The applicant should have a PhD in a relevant area related to IDRBT from a reputable university or possess a similar qualification along with a suitable mix of administrative, banking, and IT qualifications.
- In deserving cases, candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience as the head of IT in a medium/large organization may also be considered.
Experience: The applicant should have relevant work experience in banks, the financial industry, the technology sector, or academia. They should have a deep understanding of financial technology-related issues, excellent administrative skills, and a proven track record of successfully leading projects to completion.
Pay Scale: The pay scale for this position is as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), level-17, with a basic pay of Rs. 2,25,000/-. This pay scale is applicable to Directors of Centrally Funded Technical Institutions like IITs/IIMs, along with additional benefits such as a campus bungalow and other perks.
Age Limit: Applicants should preferably be under the age of 62 years as of October 1, 2023.
