1. Project Associate (3 vacancies)
Essential Qualification:
- First Class M.Sc./M.Tech. Degree in Geology/Applied Geology from a recognized university/institute with a good academic record.
- Candidates must not be registered for a Ph.D. degree.
- Candidates with NET/GATE qualification will be preferred.
Specializations: Applicants should preferably have expertise in one of the following specializations:
- Petroleum Geochemistry/Petroleum Geology
- Sedimentology
- Palynology and Micropalaeontology
Salary:
- For GATE/NET Candidates:
- Rs. 31,000/- per month for the initial 2 years.
- Rs. 35,000/- per month from the third year onwards + 8% HRA.
- For Non-GATE/Non-NET Candidates:
- Rs. 25,000/- per month for the initial 2 years.
- Rs. 28,000/- per month from the third year onwards + 8% HRA.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as of the day of the interview.

- Geomorphology / Neotectonics
Salary:
- For GATE/NET Candidates:
- Rs. 31,000/- per month for the initial 2 years.
- Rs. 35,000/- per month from the third year onwards + 8% HRA.
- For Non-GATE/Non-NET Candidates:
- Rs. 25,000/- per month for the initial 2 years.
- Rs. 28,000/- per month from the third year onwards + 8% HRA.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as of the day of the interview.
Selection Procedure: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a walk-in-interview, which will be notified through their email. The interview will take place at the office of the K.D.M. Chair Project, Department of Applied Geology, Dibrugarh University.
