Name of post: Guest Faculty Member of Law (Specialization-IL, EL, IPR, and CN)
Qualification: A. For candidates with a Master’s degree:
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point-scale) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET. However, candidates who have obtained a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2018, and their amendments may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

B. For candidates with a Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution: The Ph.D. degree should have been obtained from a foreign university/institution that has a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking by any one of the following:
- Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
- the Times Higher Education (THE)
- the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
Pay: INR 1500/- per class will be offered.
Selection Procedure: The selection will be done through a walk-in-interview to be held on 26th July 2023 at the Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, Administrative Block, NLUJA, Assam. The reporting time for the interview is 10 AM.

What is the placement of NLU Assam?
NLU Assam has not released the 2022 placement details yet. However, the NIRF report 2022 is out. According to which, a total of 57 students participated in the NLU Assam placement drive of 2021 out of which only 1 student got placed.
