Assam Career :Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate in a research project titled “Work, Mental Health and Gender: A Sociological Study on Women Police in Dibrugarh District of Assam.” The project is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and will be conducted under the supervision of Dr. Pamidi Hegjer, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology.

Essential Qualification:
- Candidates should have a Post Graduate degree in any social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Additionally, candidates should have qualified NET/SLET/MPhil/PhD.
Remuneration: The selected candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 20,000 as per the approved emolument of ICSSR.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of the interview. However, the upper age limit may be relaxed as per the rules of the Government of India.
Selection Procedure: A walk-in interview will be conducted on 10/07/2023 at 11:00 AM in the Department of Sociology at Tezpur University.
Application Process: Interested candidates should appear for the interview with the following documents:
- Original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets and certificates from 10th standard onwards.
- Certificate of NET/SLET/MPhil/PhD.
- Caste certificate (if applicable).
- Experience certificate (if any).
